# TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Tracer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

## THE APP

Tracer is a network traffic inspector for iOS. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and [Apple's standard EULA](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/).

## ACCEPTABLE USE

Tracer is a tool for inspecting network traffic on your own device, or traffic you are otherwise authorized to inspect. You agree to use it in compliance with applicable law, and not to use it to intercept, monitor, or interfere with communications without authorization.

## SUBSCRIPTIONS

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple account, renew automatically until canceled, and can be managed or canceled at any time in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

## YOUR DATA

Traffic you capture stays on your device. See our [privacy policy](/privacy) for details. You are responsible for the data you capture and how you use it.

## NO WARRANTY

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will be accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.

## LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

## TERMINATION

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

## CHANGES

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here, and continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept them.

## GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
